Annie Frazier lives in Asheville, North Carolina, where she works as a freelance editor and author’s assistant and teaches fiction for Great Smokies Writing Program. She has also taught fiction workshops for Charlotte Writers Club and Flatiron Writers Room.

Annie's fiction and poetry have appeared in print and online at Reckon Review, Fractured Lit, Lost Balloon Magazine, Appalachian Review, Paper Darts, Hypertrophic Literary, Longleaf Review, Cabinet of Heed, Philosophical Idiot, CHEAP POP, Still: The Journal, Crack the Spine, apt magazine, and North Carolina Literary Review. Her work has been nominated multiple times for the Pushcart Prize, Best Small Fictions, and Best of the Net, and her flash fiction “All of Us Animals” was a finalist for Best of the Net 2018.

Annie received an MFA in fiction from Spalding University in 2017, where she served as Social Media Coordinator for the program and as a student editor for The Louisville Review. She has also previously served as Social Media Editor for Pithead Chapel, the Spalding MFA Alumni Association, and as a fiction reader for Longleaf Review.

Annie studied Ancient Greek Language and Literature as an undergrad at New College of Florida, where her honors thesis explored the use of ekphrasis in three Ancient Greek novels. She's currently working on a collection of flash fiction and short stories, as well as two in-progress novels—one set in near-contemporary North Carolina and Connecticut, and the other set in 14th-century London.
